Kids Night at the Hawk
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register. Yoga in the Rock Garden
Yoga in the Rock Garden – (8:40a registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations. Ticket holders for sessions cancelled by Meadow Brook Hall in the case of inclement weather will receive a full refund. $15. More Info / Book tickets.

West Bloomfield Little Hikers – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center (wbparks.org). Join our Naturalist on a nature
discovery walk. Enjoy silly songs and fun activities to keep all ages, from babies to school-aged engaged. Families can explore the Nature Room and Outdoor Natural Play Area after the hike. The trail is 0.5 miles and unpaved so only all-terrain strollers are recommended. A baby backpack/carrier is suggested for infants. The fee is per family. $3 resident / $5 non-resident. Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival at Van Hoosen Farms- The Stone Wall Pumpkin Festival lighting will take place
from 7p-9p, Festival activities will take place from 10a-4p. The event during the day is packed with activities for the kids, including pumpkin bowling and their own pumpkin that could be carved while at the festival or taken home. WB Parks Storytime and Fishing – Bassquatch – at Marshbank Park (248-451-1900, wbparks.org). Join Mike McKinstry, of “The
Bassquatch Hunter: Fish Out of Water” on the Discovery Channel, in this family-fun event. Mike will read his book, “The Adventures of Seth-Squatch”, do a craft and then hit the docks to fish. Fishing instruction is available. No experience is necessary. All supplies are included.
