Kensington Weekend Hayrides

Kensington Weekend Hayrides – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Enjoy a horse-

drawn or tractor-drawn hayride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.

West Bloomfield Little Hikers – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center (wbparks.org). Join our Naturalist on a nature

discovery walk. Enjoy silly songs and fun activities to keep all ages, from babies to school-aged engaged. Families can explore the Nature Room and Outdoor Natural Play Area after the hike. The trail is 0.5 miles and unpaved so only all-terrain strollers are recommended. A baby backpack/carrier is suggested for infants. The fee is per family. $3 resident / $5 non-resident. Kids put your costumes on and bring your favorite adults along. Meet some friendly characters with activities and goodies for you to collect along the paved path, perfect for strollers and wagons. Also discover fun facts, riddles, spooky decorations and photo stops along the way. Be sure to bring a bag or bucket for your treats. Ages 2-6. $5 per person. No pre-registration required.
