Heritage Park Splash Pad Opening Day at Splash Pad at Heritage Park (248-536-5617, www.ci.farmington-hills.mi.us). Heritage Park has a small splash pad at the north end of the park near the north shelter / picnic
area and playground. Kids are free to run through splash pad when the weather is warm enough. Entry to Heritage Park is FREE and so is the Splash Pad! REVIEW / PICS / INFO
Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play
Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. The gym will have a variety of age appropriate toys to ride, push, or explore. Children must be accompanied and supervised by an individual aged 16 or older. Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration required. West Bloomfield Parks National Trails Day – Walnut Creek Middle School. Meet and park at Walnut Creek
Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. There will be naturalist on the trail to answer all of your questions or discuss what you discovered along the way. together for the 2nd annual City-wide giving event at the Troy Community Center. Think: giant yard sale, except everything is free. Come find items you need or plan to bring items you wish to give. West Bloomfield Parks Go Fish Event – Marshbank Park (wbparks.org)
Join WB Parks on the fishing pier located on Cass Lake to share in this great outdoor pastime. WB Parks will have staff on hand with a limited number of fishing poles provided for hands-on instruction to get you and your child started. Win a fishing themed prize if you catch the smallest or the largest fish. A simple craft and game will be available in case the fish aren’t biting. $9 resident / $11 non-resident.
