Lyon Township Kite Festival – Kite Fest is an annual South Lyon event that takes place at James Atchison Park in New Hudson MI every June.

West Bloomfield Parks National Trails Day
West Bloomfield Parks National Trails Day – Walnut Creek Middle School. Meet and park at Walnut Creek
Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. There will be naturalist on the trail to answer all of your questions or discuss what you discovered along the way. Free shirts are passed out between 8a-8:30a at a first come, first served basis while supplies last. This is a FREE event. No pre-registration required. Hosted by WB Parks.

Together at the Village for “Music and Me~On Tuesdays Too!”. Each Tuesday, starting at 10a, enjoy a 45-minute musical activity with your child. There will be singing, dancing, and shaking rhythmic instruments together. This is a FREE event, so bring a blanket and get ready to shake, rattle and roll with your child. West Bloomfield Parks Go Fish Event – Marshbank Park (wbparks.org)
Join WB Parks on the fishing pier located on Cass Lake to share in this great outdoor pastime. WB Parks will have staff on hand with a limited number of fishing poles provided for hands-on instruction to get you and your child started. Win a fishing themed prize if you catch the smallest or the largest fish. A simple craft and game will be available in case the fish aren’t biting. $9 resident / $11 non-resident. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

interact with each other during this fun morning performance. Bring a blanket and be prepared to be inspired by the musical talents of your children. This class is geared towards children birth to five years old. The program recognizes early childhood music for infants to kindergartners with adult involvement. These events are FREE event to attend. These events are hosted by Mrs Calissa from Sing Play Speak and by TheVofRH.
