Troy Community Center Toddler Open Play at the Fitness Center – (248-524-3484). Free for fitness members
or purchase a Day Pass. New opportunity for the youngest patrons to work on gross motor and socialization skills, while burning off energy in the cold-weather months. 9:30p is Kids Night Out at Troy Gym. a great opportunity for parents to have a night off while their children burn off some energy at the gym. Pack a snack or small dollars/quarters for snack time. Space is limited, pre-enroll is preferred. $20 per child. More info at troygym.com.
Come Out and Play
Come Out and Play – at Pontiac Oaks. Enjoy a day on the playground and other fun activities during the free Come Out & Play
event. During this special day, day camps and members of the public can enjoy free access to the zip line, water and non-water inflatables and the climbing tower. Children must be at least 45 pounds and 42 inches tall and wear closed-toe shoes for the zip line. A waiver form is also required. Shoes are required for the climbing tower and socks are required for the non-water inflatables. For the water inflatables, guests may want to bring a swimsuit or change of clothes. Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
