Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Independence Oaks – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats

are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm

Kensington Metropark Fun on the Farm – from 10a-11a OR 1p-2p. Fun on the Farm is an indoor and outdoor children’s series that focuses on different animals and aspects of farming each session. Each program will include a story, hands-on activity, and a chance to get up close and personal with that week’s topic. Ages 2-6. $5 per child / Adults FREE. The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
