Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Rochester Parade of Heroes – Schedule: 8a – City of Rochester Ceremony at Mt Avon / 9a – Parade begins at

Mt Avon Cemetery in Rochester / 10:30a – Parade ends at Veteran’s Point, Rochester Hills, with a closing Ceremony by Rochester Hills / 11:30a – Hot dogs at Rochester Fire Station.. Hosted by the Rochester Regional Chamber of Commerce. in conjunction with the City of Rochester, the City of Rochester Hills, and Oakland Twp.

Farmington Memorial Day Parade

Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Ferndale Memorial Day Parade

Ferndale Memorial Day Parade & Ceremony – Downtown Ferndale Michigan
The parade begins on Livernois at Maplehurst, north to Oakridge St, west to Pinecrest, south to Nine Mile Rd, east to Livernois, and south on Livernois to the Veteran’s Memorial Mall for ceremony at 11a. Hosted by the Ferndale Memorial Association.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.
