Northville Memorial Day Parade
Northville Memorial Day Parade – Northville Chamber of Commerce Memorial Day Parade
W Cady Street, Northville, MI 48167. The Parade is an observance to honor and mourn the US military personnel who have died while serving in the United State Armed Forces. The parade marches down Main Street to Wing Street, then West down Cady Street, briefly stopping at Oakwood Cemetery on West Cady Street. It then proceeds to Rural Hill Cemetery where there will be a memorial service starting at 11a. Hosted by the Northville Chamber of Commerce and VFH Post 4012.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Farmington Hills Kickoff to Summer – The Hawk FH Community Center (fhgov.com). Enjoy FREE fun with
bouncers, fitness obstacle course, closest to the pin contest, basketball shot contest, fitness demos, the aquatic center, live entertainment crafts, and more. Concessions on-site for purchase. FREE popcorn. All ages event. Hosted by the Farmington Hills Special Services (Parks & Rec) Department.
