Heritage Park Splash Pad Opening Day
Heritage Park Splash Pad Opening Day at Splash Pad at Heritage Park (248-536-5617, www.ci.farmington-hills.mi.us). Heritage Park has a small splash pad at the north end of the park near the north shelter / picnic
area and playground. Kids are free to run through splash pad when the weather is warm enough. Entry to Heritage Park is FREE and so is the Splash Pad! REVIEW / PICS / INFO
Clawson Memorial Day Ceremony
Clawson Memorial Day Ceremony – at Blair Public Library Gazebo. Join Clawson American Legion Post 167 to honor fallen heroes with a brief ceremony in honor of the fallen men and women in service. Hosted by the City of Clawson.

Farmington Memorial Day Parade
Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration required. West Bloomfield Parks National Trails Day – Walnut Creek Middle School. Meet and park at Walnut Creek
Middle School for a walk along our scenic and historic rail-to-trail network ending at Sylvan Manor Park. There will be naturalist on the trail to answer all of your questions or discuss what you discovered along the way.
