Detroit VegFest – The state’s largest plant-based event returns to Eastern Market for a second year with nearly 100 vendors, including popular plant-based restaurants, specialty food items, and eco-friendly shopping. Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Madison Heights Juneteenth Celebration – Family-friendly festival that attracts visitors from across the Metro Detroit Area. The “main street” Summerfest event will take place on Saturday from 11a to 10p in the heart of downtown at Auburn and Squirrel roads. Have fun at the Auburn Hills Summer Fest kick-off from 4p-10p on Friday.
Michigan Glass Project Festival
Michigan Glass Project Festival is a three-day celebration of art, music, and glassblowing. Festival features hundreds of artists
creating glass pieces live alongside musical performances. The highlight? The artwork is then auctioned, with proceeds benefiting art programs in Detroit public schools.
