Beverly Hills Winter Family Fun Day – Winter Family Fun Day is FREE! This is now a pop-up event meaning the Village of Beverly Hills will announce 2023 dates in advance “weather permitting”. Activities include – sledding, ice skating, cross country skiing, warm drinks, a snow cave, winter golf, winter softball and snacks in the pavilion by the fire.

Wint Nature Center Puddle Jumper Series –  at Wint Nature Center at Independence Oaks County Park 248-625-6473. Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the great outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and related activity. Each child will receive a craft kit to take and make at home. This series meets the second Friday of each month. Cost: $4/child. Call 248-858-0916 weekdays to register. Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Acacia Park Cemetery Trunk or Treat – You are invited and encouraged to attend Acacia Park’s annual Trunk or Treat. Come in costume – prizes will be awarded for the best costume for children, adults, and pets. This is a FREE event. Hosted by Acacia Park Cemetery.

Beverly Hills Halloween Hoot – Wear costumes and bring a flashlight for trick-or-treating around the friendly Halloween Hoot Trail. Admission is FREE. This event is for children of Beverly Hills and their families. For more info, visit villagebeverlyhills.com

Campus Martius Park Carriage Rides

Campus Martius Park Carriage Rides take place during the holiday season on Fridays & Saturdays from November 18 through December 30. See Downtown Detroit at Christmastime like you never have before – from inside an enchanted horse drawn carriage. Carriage rides take off from the Woodward Esplanade, directly south of Campus Martius Park. Rides are $10 per person and last about 15 to 20 minutes. On site only.
