Birmingham Community Halloween Fun in the Patch – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Children and adults are encouraged to dress up in kid-friendly costumes and enjoy Halloween on the front lawn amongst the Pumpkin Patch. 1p-7p – Pumpkin Patch, 4p-5p – Children’s Parade with Trick or Treating, 4:15p-5:30p – Storybook time & Halloweenie Roast. Birmingham Wine Event – ‘Battle of the Palates’ wine event. Bring your favorite red wine and put it to the test in a blind tasting. Hors D’oeuvres and gifts will be available to everyone. Birmingham Christmas Town – at Birmingham First United Methodist Church. Come early and enjoy wonderful music at their Heralds of Christmas concert, featuring their children’s choirs from 3-4 PM in the main sanctuary. Then, there will be crafts, story time with a guest author, warm hot cocoa, a live petting zoo and a visit with Santa on
Birmingham First Front Lawn (The event will be moved indoors if there is inclement weather.) This is a FREE event hosted by Birmingham First United Methodist Church.
Clinton Twp Fireworks – at 6p (fireworks start at 10p). Preshow fun (fun for kids, live music) begins at 6p. Food vendors available on-site. Shuttle service and additional parking available at Erie Elementary, 9th Grade Center and St Paul of Tarsus Church. For people with loved ones interred at Resurrection Cemetery, the cemetery is extending hours on 7/4 & 7/5 to allow for visitors to share the 7/5 fireworks with their loved one. Common Ground Art Fair Birmingham – More than 100 artists from across the country presenting their handmade artwork in ceramics, painting, photography, glass, jewelry, sculpture, wood and more. The Fair’s artist booths will be on Old Woodward south of Maple Road. Hosted by theguild.org.
