Detroit Zoo Dinosauria preview, hours, cost info for the dinosaur exhibit at the Detroit Zoo. Enjoy the walking stroll through prehistoric times with animatronic dinosaurs, hands-on exhibits, photo ops, and more. Dinosauria takes place daily from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day weekend from 10a-5p daily.

The 3-acre trail will simulate prehistoric times with dinosaurs, foggy mist, intermittent dino roars, and smells. Fans of previous exhibits will notice all their favorites in addition to new and exciting features.
Detroit Zoo Dinosauria Features 2024
- 34 enormous, true life-sized animatronic dinosaurs lurking around every corner
- Multiple hands-on fossil dig sites
- A Predator vs. Prey educational exhibit
- A T-Rex photo op
- Pre-Historic Poo (herbivore compost) for purchase!

For an additional feel, you can purchase a Dinosauria “Total Experience Package” which includes admission to the exhibit PLUS a train ticket and a 4-D theater ticket.
Dinosauria Tickets Info
Dinosauria tickets are available for purchase at the main admissions gate. Dinosauria tickets do not include admission to the Zoo or parking.
