Farmington Hills Unplugged Summer Camps have something for everyone ages 3 to 18 – art, theatre, music, sports, archery, skateboard, nature, STEM, and MUCH MORE! Make Farmington Hills your home for summer camp. Farmington Hills Special Services Department hosts over 3,000 kids each year in its day camps. Kids make friends, explore new places and gain self-confidence. Every day is an adventure.
Working parents? Many Farmington Hills Summer camps also offer before and after care for an additional fee. All camps are open to both residents and non-residents.

Farmington Hills Summer Camps 2026 – General Day Camps
General Summer Day Camps are offered M-F from 9a-3p each day (unless noted). Farmington Hills offers optional extended AM & PM care from 8a-9a and 3p-5:30p to accommodate busy parenting schedules. REGISTER ONLINE HERE
General Day Camps Offer a wide variety of summer day camp activities – playing outside, creating art projects, exploring the state-of-the-art Hawk Aquatic Center and much more! Camps are divided among 3 age groups – Camp Turtle (ages 6-7) , Camp Otter (ages 8-9), Camp Penguin (ages 10-11) and Camp Polar Bear (ages 6-11). Camp polar bear combines Turtle, Otter, & Penguin for one final week at the end of the summer.
TourExplore Camps offer exciting field trips for kids ages 7-9 or 10-12. Kids will explore daily field trips to local museums, parks, water parks, farms, zoos, science centers, and more!

Other General Day Camps offered include Safety Town for kids ages 4-5 or 5-7 which incorporate exploring Safety Town while learning about street safety, bike safety, car safety, water safety, bullying, stranger danger, and more while having FUN. Special visits to the Police Department and Fire Station too!

Farmington Hills Summer Camps 2026 – Art, Music, Theatre, and Dance

Farmington Hills Special Services offers more than 20 camps this summer diving into music, theatre, art, dance, and other performing arts. Kids can explore several forms of dance, art classes using many mediums, crafting, improv, songwriting, and group theatre.

Unplugged Summer Camps offers more than 15 summer day camps for boys and girls ages 6-16. All your favorites are here – Soccer, Gymnastics, Flag Football, Cheer, Volleyball, Golf, Basketball, Track & Field, Baseball, and Softball. In addition, FH offers an ALL-Sports Summer Camp that offer a little of everything. They even have Skateboarding Camps, Archery Camps, and Racquet Sports Camps.

Counselors in Training (CIT) (ages 14-16) – The Farmington Hills Summer Camps Counselor in Training (CIT) program is designed for teens who are eager to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in a fun and dynamic environment. This full-day program is perfect for those who aspire to become future camp counselors or leaders in their community. Farmington Hills Spring Break Events – Camp Clay Spring Break

This exciting opportunity to play with clay teaches campers the fundamentals of ceramics by making pinch pots, tiles, and even throwing on the wheel. Participants will work in traditional white clay as well as air-dry and polymer clays. Please note that some work may not be ready to come home on the final day of camp. If some pieces require additional drying time prior to firing in the kilns, campers will be notified when their work is complete and ready to pick up. Ages 6-8.
