I’m not a very good Pinterest Mom so my the Valentine’s Day crafts I’ve made with my kids tend to be on the simplistic (boring) side. Thankfully, our friends at TheSoul Publishing sent us these cool Halloween fun recipes courtesy of their Top 5 YouTube Channel, 5-Minute Crafts. 5-Minute Crafts make the upcoming holidays more fun for kids… and less stressful for moms like me that aren’t exactly Martha Stewart.

These crafts are very simple and fun to make. Supplies aren’t expensive and can be found at your local craft store (or even a dollar store).
FUN Valentine’s Day Crafts for Kids
JELLY JAR CANDY BAR BOUQUET
Paint an ordinary empty pickle jar or empty jelly jar white. Use a hot glue gun to decorate the jar with your favorite beads, trinkets, or bows. Fasten mini fun-size candy bars to chopsticks or ordinary 12 inch crafting sticks. Fill the jar with florist planting foam and insert the candy sticks in place to make a beautiful (and yummy) bouquet.
FLOWER POT CANDY BOWL
Paint a small flower pot red, make sure the pot comes with a draining saucer… and paint that red too. Take a mini glass or plastic fishbowl / bubble ball vase (you could even use the bowl from an old light fixture) and hot glue gun it to the (upside down) flower pot. Fill the bowl with colorful candy hearts. Then use the draining saucer as a decorative lid to your candy bowl creation.
BOTTLE CAP MINI PICTURE FRAMES
Take some twist off bottle caps (you can paint them if you’d like) and cut your cute photos to the size of the caps and glue them inside of the caps. Then take the hot glue gun and fix tiny plastic crafting magnets to cap tops and your photos and Valentine’s Day art are ready for the fridge.
