LCA FREE Summer Movies 2019 – Little Caesars Arena in Detroit will be hosting their LCA Summer Cinema Series, FREE family-friendly summer movies, on select days this summer. Movie showings will be located at the Chevy Plaza in The District Detroit. The movies will be shown on the Plaza’s 50-ft video board.
The Palace started this tradition in December of 2015 where they showed Home Alone before the holidays last year and had a great response. I’m glad to see this idea has transferred to LCA.

Movies begin at 7:30p but doors open early, at 6:30p, for The Detroit Red Wings Experience where fans can participate in interactive hockey games for fans.

- Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at 7:30p – LEGO Movie 2
- Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at 7:30p – Aquaman
- Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 7:30p – Moana
Admission to these events are FREE and parking is FREE at the Henry West Garage.
Popcorn, soda and water will be available at all showings with family-friendly pricing. Additionally, an outdoor bar will be available for adults of legal age. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all attendees, staff will be in place to check IDs and provide wristbands for fans who are at least 21 years of age. Mike’s Pizza Bar and Sports & Social Detroit will also be offering 15 percent off food along with great drink specials before and after each screening (dine-in only).
Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets. In the event of inclement weather, the movies will be shown on the center hung video board in the Little Caesars Arena bowl.
