Metroparks Fireworks 2020 CANCELED / Summer Updates

Metroparks Fireworks 2020 info – dates, locations and admissions info for the 2020 Huron-Clinton Metroparks summer fireworks displays located throughout Metro Detroit and SE Michigan. The 2020 season will see fireworks shows at 4 of the Metroparks between the dates of June 28, 2020 and July 3, 2020.

SUMMER 2020 METROPARKS UPDATES

UPDATE 5/13 – Due to Covid-19, The Metroparks have announced the following info in regards to the 2020 summer season…

  • FREE Park Entry on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays ends on May 15, 2020
  • Parks will limit capacity to 60% of normal capacity to limit overcrowding
  • Boat rentals will remain closed but boat access to lakes & rivers will remain open
  • Pools, splash pads, and the Turtle Cove Aquatic Center will open this summer – Mid June for splash pads, early July for Turtle Cove (SUBJECT TO CHANGE)
  • Nature Centers & programming will restart June 16
  • Fireworks are canceled
  • Summer Concerts through July 4 are canceled

Shelby Twp Fireworks 2020 – Stony Creek Metropark FireworksCANCELED
Stony Creek Metropark – (4300 Main Park Rd, Shelby Twp, MI 48316, 586-781-4242, metroparks.com)
Plan to arrive early for this popular fireworks event. Spend the day at the park picnicking, enjoying the beach or hitting the Trippo Waterslide and then stay for an amazing fireworks show at dusk. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. 2020 vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.

Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at Dusk
New Boston Fireworks 2020 – Willow Metropark FireworksCANCELED
Willow Metropark (23200 S Huron Rd, New Boston, MI 48164)
Willow Metropark hosts its annual fireworks show. Display will begin at dusk. Plan to arrive early for these popular fireworks events. A special event daily vehicle permit may be required after 5p. A Metro parks vehicle entry permit is required for these events. 2020 vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.

Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Dusk
Milford Fireworks 2020 – Kensington Metropark FireworksCANCELED
Kensington Metropark – (4570 Huron River Parkway, Milford, MI 48380, 810-227-8910, metroparks.com)
The annual fireworks display will start at dusk. Arrive early and enjoy the beach, rent a boat to explore the water, visit the Farm or Nature Centers or event enjoy a round of golf or disc golf. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. 2020 vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.

Brownstown Fireworks 2020 – Lake Erie Metropark FireworksCANCELED

Lake Erie Metropark hosts its annual fireworks show at dusk.  Plan to arrive early to claim your spot and to enjoy the park or hit the Great Wave pool. A Metroparks vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. 2020 vehicle permits are on sale NOW. You can pick one up at metroparks.com OR visit your local Metropark today.
