Rochester Antique Appraisal Day 2025

Rochester Antique Appraisal Day 2025 – Rochester-Avon Historical Society will host Antique Appraisal Day at the Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farms on Sunday, April 6, 2025 from noon-4p.

Rochester Antique Appraisal Day 2025

Previous versions of this event took place at the Rochester Community House but will be held at Van Hoosen Farms for 2025.

Local antiques experts and appraisers, including representatives from Haig’s of Rochester, Rush Antiques, and Michigan Antique Arms will appraise a variety of antique items including: books, manuscripts, first editions, coins, clocks, glass, pottery, collectibles, china, lighting, lamps, furniture, military items, antique weapons, dolls and related items, teddy bears, costume & fine jewelry, Eastern Art, engravings, art, vintage toys, musical instruments (violin, cello, bass, banjo, mandolin, ukulele, electric and acoustic guitars), and more.

Similar to PBS’s “Antique Roadshow,” Antique Appraisal Day gives attendees the opportunity to learn more about their treasured heirlooms and vintage items. Regardless of the monetary values these items may or may not have, the event is always a fun and entertaining way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
Attendees are asked to bring their items, or photos of larger items, to have them appraised. Admission to Antique Appraisal Day is free. Appraisals are $5 per item. Limit five (5) items per person and cash only payments. Appraisals will be given verbally. Parking is free and complimentary refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon. No buying or selling is permitted at this event. All items are appraised at fair market value.
