The RH Splash Pad is part of the Auburn Road Project, the 6-mile corridor of Auburn Rd through the City of Rochester Hills. Covid delayed the original splash pad opening of summer of 2020 but they finished it up in late Fall of 2020 and Mayor Bryan Barnett had a soft launch opening on October 23, 2020.

Rochester Hills Splash Pad Pics (More Coming Soon)

This isn’t the largest or fanciest splash pad in Oakland County but the surrounding Auburn Rd corridor, with plenty of trees & fiber optic lighting, make it very appealing. Also appealing is the price, the pad is absolutely FREE to splash & play in! There splash pad area also has a nearby grassy hill for climbing and running and plenty of tables dotted around it so you can relax and watch the kids.

The RH Splash Pad and the surrounding area east of Rochester Rd is among the first of many improvements to the 6-mile stretch of Auburn Rd that leads from the easternmost part of Rochester Hills to the westernmost section that leads to the Downtown Auburn Hills area. Most of the focus of the Auburn Rd Project will consist of the addition of roundabouts, on-street parking, improved pedestrian facilities, sidewalks, streetscape enhancements, landscaping, and lighting. Most of attention of the project will be paid to the area east of Rochester Road.
