Seymour Lake Park Splashpad – review, info and pics of the KLR Splash Pad at Seymour Lake Park in Oxford Twp MI. The KLR Splashpad is maintained by Oxford Twp Parks and Recreation.
Since there is only 1 way in and out of the spray park area and the spray park itself is self-contained and fenced off, KLR Splashpad is very safe and secure. The admission booth also has a small concession stand.
The splashpad / spray park itself offers plenty of fountains, geysers, water guns, filling and dumping water buckets, spraying palm trees that kids can run through, play with and control. The area surrounding KLR Splashpad is filled with shaded benches. It’s very easy to keep your eyes on the kids at the splashpad because it is enclosed.
Seymour Lake Park Splashpad Pics
KLR Splashpad is a short jaunt down a paved path from the huge Kids Kingdom playground / playscape. Obviously, the idea is for kids to work up a sweat on the giant playground and then head to the splash pad to cool down. KLR Splashpad at Seymour Lake Park is smaller than the Clarkston Spraypark at Clintonwood Park but it uses the smaller square footage wisely.
The fun factor at KLR Splashpad is tremendous for kids 8 years old and under. Older kids may lose interest a little more quickly.
KLR Splashpad is open 11a-6p from June 1 (first Saturday in June) through Labor Day (weather permitting).
