Shiawassee Sled Hill Farmington review, pics, video, and info. Shiawassee sledding hill is located on Shiawassee road in Farmington near 10 Mile Rd and Orchard Lake Road.
Shiawassee sledding hill is among the most popular places for sledding in Oakland County and Metro Detroit, Michigan. The hill is extensive and features a wide, fenced off walking path in the middle of the hill complete with hay bales for sledders to safely climb back to the top for another trip down the sled hill. Thanks to the snow fences adorning the hill and walking path, the sledding is very safe. Speeds aren’t too fast but the sledding is fast enough to satisfy most child riders.
