Thai Fix Lake Orion review, pics, hours, and menu info. Thai Fix Lake Orion Restaurant is located off Baldwin Rd in a shopping plaza south of Maybee Rd in Lake Orion. Thai Fix opened in late 2019. Thai Fix is a cleaner, newer restaurant and is nicely decorated with a fresh single rose in a vase at each table.

The Thai Fix menu has traditional Thai dishes such as noodle dishes (pad thai, pad see-iew, etc.), rice dishes (fried rice), curry dishes, garlic brown sauce dishes like cashew chicken, pad pak, pepper steak, and so much more. Protein options are beef, chicken, pork and shrimp. You can also order your dish vegetarian.

Additionally, the Thai Fix menu has allergen alerts next to each entree so you know if it contains gluten/wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, and/or shellfish. I was shocked to see that the drunken noodles and Pad See-iew did not have soy or gluten markers. I confirmed this with the waitress before ordering as I have not been able to get drunken noodles anywhere since it always has gluten! Hopefully they know their stuff at Thai Fix…I guess I’ll know for sure when I see how I feel later:). If it truly has no soy or gluten, this will be my go-to place for Thai food.
I ordered the Drunken Noodles and it was the best Drunken Noodles I’ve ever had. I could taste the basil. The dish was fresh and full of flavor. I ordered it medium spicy and it had a definite kick. I didn’t have to add more spice. Serving size was also good. This dish was all around excellent…
Thai Fix starts your meal with an order of Hot and Sour soup. I thought the soup was ok. Not the best I’ve had. Even the waitress admitted this soup is a hit or miss. But, it definitely wasn’t a deal breaker for me.
I was one of the first people there at Thai Fix when they opened at 11a. The staff was super nice and the service was great. I got my food in what felt like five minutes. Even if I was one of the first to arrive, that is still impressive.
Too often, the “best eats” in Metro Detroit, especially with ethnic food, aren’t the best places to eat from an atmosphere standpoint. I’ve been to Chinese & Mexican food places that were dives, but had the best food I’ve ever tasted! No atmosphere problems with Thai Fix. Thai Fix is clean and a great place to eat with your friends and family.
Thai Fix ranks as among my favorite Oakland County Thai food restaurants that I’ve tried, along with Sunrise Thai in Madison Hts. I’d probably give the nod to Sunrise Thai (just barely) food-wise, but Thai Fix LO has a much better atmosphere.
