Thai Legend Waterford Twp review, pics, hours, and menu info. Thai legend is located on Highland Rd and offers a full Thai food menu that includes fried rice dishes, noodle dishes, and specials like Gang Gai, Thai Pepper Steak, Pad Khing, Pad Prik and more. Thai Legend has reasonable prices and lunch and dinner portions. You can choose from chicken, pork, beef, tofu, or vegetables to go with your dish; shrimp is also an option for a little bit more.

Thai Legend also has Chinese food options in its menu. There aren’t a ton of entrees, but definitely enough of the main dishes if someone in the family is not a fan of Thai food. The Chinese food offered at Thai Legend includes cashew chicken, sesame chicken, General Tso’s Chicken, chop suey, sweet and sour chicken and more.
We only tried the Thai food options at Thai Legend so I can’t comment on the Chinese food. Our Thai food portions (for takeout) were great. I ordered Drunken Noodles, which actually has a different name at Thai Legend. They call it Pad Kee Mao. That was how it was explained to me when I placed my order. My daughter ordered the Pad See Eiw (that’s how it’s spelled on the Thai Legend menu).
Our Thai food had good flavor, great portion sizes, and I was pleasantly surprised that the order came with a couple spring rolls served with plum sauce. I’m a big fan when a Thai food restaurant throws in some spring rolls or soup with your order. It gives me an opportunity to try something else off the menu that I may not have thought to order.
Something to note about Thai Legend when placing your order…they want to make it clear to customers that their spice level is higher than most Thai restaurants. I tried to order Medium spice and he asked me if I had ever had their food before. He talked me out of it, even when I tried to order it Mild Plus. I finally opted for Mild which did have a nice kick to it still. I would compare it to the Medium level at some other Thai Food restaurants.
My only complaint about the food at Thai Legend is that it seemed to have quite a bit of oil. I could taste the flavor of the Thai dish, but I also tasted the oil, which is not how it usually is for me. Maybe I got the bottom of the batch???
