Bedrock Detroit has created Decked out Detroit** and transformed Downtown Detroit into a holiday winter wonderland throughout the district around Bedrock’s NEW Hudson’s Development including… Cadillac Lodge, The Gilbert Way, Downtown Detroit Markets at Cadillac Squre and, of course, 1001 Winter Wonders Detroit at
1001 Winter Wonders Detroit at 1001 Woodward (1000 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48226).
1001 Winter Wonders Detroit opens for the Holiday season on Thursday, November 13, 2025 and runs through Sunday, January 4, 2026.
1001 Winter Wonders Detroit – FREE Santa Claus Visits Detroit
FREE Santa Claus Visits are offered at the 1001 Woodward Building Thursdays through Sundays (through December 24). Hours are 4p-8p on Thursdays & Fridays, noon-8p on Saturdays, and noon-6p on Sundays. Additional days will be December 22 & 23 from noon-6p, Christmas Eve from noon-4p. 1001 Winter Wonders Detroit is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
1001 Winter Wonders Detroit – FREE Santa Claus Visits Detroit GUIDELINES
Parties of 10 or larger must wait until all members of the party are present prior to entering the experience
The entry line will start outdoors, beginning at the Woodward Avenue entrance. Please be prepared to wait outdoors
The line will end at the closing time of the experience. All parties in line at the time of close will be able to enter
Please arrive early to ensure you are able to visit Santa and participate in all elements of the experience
All guests must exit the building following the close of the experience. This includes the building lobby, restrooms and elevators
Photos are limited to two shots per family. Multiple printed copies are available upon request, up to five max
No pets or animals of any kind are allowed, except service animals
Guests under 13 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Please stay with your party for the entirety of the experience
No large bags, backpacks or strollers will be permitted inside the experience. There is a dedicated area in the lobby to leave strollers before entering. 1001 Winter Wonders is not responsible for any lost or stolen items
