Millions of holiday lights adorn the scenic Downtown Rochester strip buildings from cornerstone to rooftop in an array of colors. You can take a slow, nightly drive through Downtown but you’ll want to park and walk the streets with a hot chocolate. This FREE lights display had its origin in Florida of all places. The Detroit Zoo holiday lights experience features the Enchanted Trail and Toyland with their giant sculptures of lights of sounds. Warm up with live entertainment and drinks at the Wild Lights Lounge. You can ever visit the Polar Express 4D Theatre Experience. The hallowed grounds of the majestic 88,000 mansion are adorned with magical lights and holiday displays. The experience is more than a stroll, Winter Wonder Lights offers food and drinks at the Chimney Tops Cafe with benches and bonfires adorning the area. Enjoy over 40 animated displays featuring more than 100,000 Christmas Lights as you drive through the 4-mile holiday trail of Hines Park. Stop along the way at food trucks dotted along the trail. Tickets are just $5 cash made payable at the event (more for limos & buses). Hosted by Wayne County.
