The Armada Fair begins in Mid-August. I grew up in Northern Macomb County and I know what a COOL deal this 154 year tradition is. It’s an amazing county fair experience and “if ya know, ya know”. Learn more about the Armada Fair HERE.
Recently the Armada Fair facebook page posted the following… “We want to hear from you- how many of you met your significant other/ spouse at the Armada Fair?” and I couldn’t believe the number of responses and all the fun stories being swapped. Check them out here. If you know any single ladies or gentlemen looking for the one, tell them to visit the fair next week and head straight to the beer tent!
5 Cool Things VOL IV / Quadzilla RETURNS
Quadzilla, the 50-foot tall 290-foot long four-lane Quadzilla Water Slide was heavily damaged during the May 18th storms but now triumphantly RETURNS in a COOL way to Eastwood Beach at Stony Creek Metropark. Enjoy Quadzilla through Labor Day from 10a-8p daily. The slide is $3 per ride or $12 for an all-day wristband. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. 5 Cool Things VOL IV / RARA Doubles Down on Parents Night Outs
We love all the awesome Parents Night Out Events across Metro Detroit. The premise is simple, drop the kids off for a few hours at a fun location and you and your sweetie can enjoy a richly deserved night out of your own.
The problem most of these PNOs have is… the duration, some are only a couple of hours long. Hardly enough for a true night out with your significant other… especially if sparks fly ;) RARA recently began hosting PNO events for kids ages 5-12 that last a COOL 6 hours! Their themed events offer games, pizza, snacks and more. Their experienced and friendly staff will ensure that your children have a safe and enjoyable time with fun activities, crafts, games, movie.

I hate to break it to you but… the beaches and pools won’t be open for much longer. That’s when the dogs take over and RULE THE POOL! Some of your favorite beaches, splash pads, & local pools go to the dogs for 1-day before they close. We’ve been to these COOL events and they’re a lot of fun. You should check them out.
