Farmington Hills MLK Day Celebration at Farmington Community Library All events at the Main Library take place in the Auditorium, unless otherwise noted.
Annual Dr Martin Luther King Jr celebration includes activities and events for all ages!

11:45a – Remarks from Officials
2p-3:30p – The Movement of Freedom Performance / 3:30p – FPS Dance Co Performance
6:30p – Student Community Challenge Showcase and Award Ceremony

Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate

Riley Park Ice Rink Glow Skate – Riley Park Ice Skating Rink Special Event. Riley Park ice rink is open daily, weather permitting. Hours are daily from 10a-10p. Fun dance music with special disco lighting. $5 per person. The rink does not have rental skates, but there are of skates available for skaters to borrow. Mayfair Co-Op Mom2Mom Sale – Mom to Mom Sales are a great place to sell your children’s outgrown and gently used items or for those who do direct sales for businesses such as Tupperware, Thirty-One Bags, or Young Living. Farmington Memorial Day Parade

Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Waterford Memorial Day Parade

Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.
