Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa
Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). A holiday season tradition at the Farm. Each visit includes a horse-drawn hayride or sleigh ride (weather dependent on which is available), a holiday sing-a-long, (complete with cozy blankets, song sheets, and jingle bells), snacks, (fruit, cookies, juice, hot cocoa, and coffee), and most importantly, a visit with Santa by the Christmas Tree. All ages. $12 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Heritage Park Sweetheart Stroll – Celebrate Valentines Day with a candle-lit hike through the trails of Heritage Park. Share your love of nature as you discover the courtship and mating behaviors of native animals. Complete the evening with a warm drink and sweet treats at the Nature Center. Ages 18+. Meadow Brook Hall Twilight Tours at Meadow Brook Hall and Gardens (248-364-6200,
meadowbrookhall.org). Enjoy stationed touring and light refreshments and a cash bar in a spectacular setting. Bring a date or friends to sip a cocktail while the sun sets over the Great Estate in this beautiful evening experience. Yoga in the Rock Garden – (5:40p registration) Experience a beautiful practice with Yoga in the Rock Garden at Meadow Brook. All levels are welcome to join these sessions, which will focus on stretching and strengthening the body to release stress and rejuvenate. The goal of yoga is simple: breathe and enjoy the moment, then the rest will follow. In cases of inclement weather, participants will be notified of any cancellations by 4p on event date. Lyon Twp Free Summer Concerts
Lyon Twp Free Summer Concerts – Music on the Grand summer concert series at Inspiration Park on Grand River in New Hudson, Michigan. Enjoy FREE family fun entertainment at Inspiration Park on select Wednesday evenings this summer from 6p-8p. In addition to live music, a food truck and kids activities will be on-site. Bring your blanket/chair and plan a relaxing and fun evening with the community. Music acts will reflect a wide variety of genres.
