For every $5 spent at village stores, get a Pokémon CARD as a free gift with your purchase – all cards are official and drawn randomly from a mix. This is a FREE Event with FREE parking. Canterbury Village Walk for Warmth – (248-391-5700) Warm a heart, help a home. Join OLHSA for a family friendly afternoon of fun and community at the annual Walk for Warmth. Contributions to Walk for Warmth support emergency services provided by OLHSA that help keep our neighbors safe and warm. Those interested in walking can register at https://fundraise.givesmart.
Entertainment will include the Genisys Band, National Anthem by Vanessa Carr, Huda Jump Rope Team, Detroit Institute of Arts craft tent, Oakland University kids crafts, Oakland County Sheriff’s Therapy Dogs, and Miss Oakland County Teen.

Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Orion Oaks Dog Park – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements

Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony
Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony – Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362)
Lake Orion will host brief ceremonies at 9a at Eastlawn Cemetery (37 E Flint Road Lake Orion) and at 10a in Downtown Lake Orion at Children’s Park (201 S Broadway St #335, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A parade will be held in Downtown Lake Orion at Flint St & Broadway at 11a. Parade steps off at Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). If you would like to participate in the parade, please contact Tom Allport at 248-202-6198. These events are all hosted by American Legion Post 233 – Charlton-Polan Post.
