Heritage Park Maple Sugaring
Heritage Park Maple Sugaring in Your Own Backyard – four 1-hr time slots to choose from each day. Discover the basics of making maple syrup from your own Maple tree. Witness the process of collecting sap and boiling it down over a campfire. Enjoy a free syrup treat. Syrup products and sugaring supplies will be available for participants to purchase. All ages. $7. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month.
Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13. Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or register online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
