Bloomfield Twp Open House – Held in conjunction with Fire Prevention Week Activities. Fire department demonstrations, food trucks, touch-a-truck, DPS truck rides, police car rides, hot dogs & cookies, petting zoo, rock climbing wall, and more. This is a FREE event. Hosted by West Bloomfield Twp.
Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. Troy Stage Nature Center Trick or Treat Among The Trees – A fun and friendly outdoor celebration for kids ages 3-9. Costumed kids are welcome to hike the woodland pumpkin trail with a SNC guide. Children will learn the secrets of the forest and receive treats and meet costumed characters. Dress for weather. Fee is $14.50. FREE for parents/guardians. Santa Visits at Stage Nature Center
Santa Visits at Stage Nature Center is Hosted by the Troy Nature Society. Visit times vary. The visits will take place outside, weather permitting. Bring your letter with a return address for Santa to take with him to the North Pole. Santa will send a letter back to you. At the visit, each child will receive the materials and directions for a special craft to make at home and a special gift bag from Santa. Ages 3-8. $12. This family-friendly program highlights natural and local history of our region. West Bloomfield Earth Day Celebration
West Bloomfield Earth Day Celebration – Come explore the Outdoor Natural Play Area and celebrate our
Earth with many activities including: Craft, live animals, free tree seedlings (while supplies last), guided nature hike, vendors, and more. This is a FREE event or $5/person if you partake in the Guided Hike. Proceeds benefit the Nature Room. This program will be indoors and outdoors so please dress for weather.
