Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Van Hoosen Museum Sap to Syrup Pancake Breakfast – at Van Hoosen Museum. Three one-hour sessions – 9a, 10a, or 11a.
Visit the Museum at Van Hoosen Farm to see an old-fashioned sap-to-syrup from trees tapped right here in Rochester Hills. Sample some real maple syrup and enjoy a pancake breakfast complete with sausage, juice, and coffee. When purchasing tickets, please specify which sessions you would like to attend. White Lake Winter Carnival – WLCL – at White Lake Inn (248-887-1818). Hosted by the White Lake Citizens League Winter Carnival. The annual winter festival has fireworks, a broomball tournament, kids activities, and more. More info…schedule of events.
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Tollgate Farm Pumpkinfest at MSU Tollgate Farm. Take a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch to pick your perfect pumpkin. Many events FREE, some with small fees. Food, music, farm animals, educational exhibits, and children’s activities all make for a fun fall outing for all ages. $5 per person, 3 and under FREE. DIA MLK Day Events – Detroit Film Theatre – “King: A Filmed Record… Montgomery to Memphis” 1p
