Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-858-0100. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Southfield Free Summer Concerts
Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Walk with Your Hero invites participants to reflect on the strength and inspiration provided by father figures, mentors, and community leaders. This special pre-event, coinciding with Father’s Day. Hosted by the City of Southfield & The City P&R Department. Hosted by Southfield Recreation.
