Cranberry Lake Park History of Maple Sugaring – at Cranberry Lake Park. Learn a little about how this treat was first discovered, the advancements in the technology that allowed us to harvest and produce enough for the world, and the science behind how this sticky confectionary is even possible. Northville Independence Day Parade – Northville Downs (301 S Center Street, Northville, MI)
The parade starts at Northville Downs and ends at Our Lady of Victory, (133 Orchard Drive, Northville) off Main Street. For more info, visit northville.org.

Walk through the beautiful Burgh Historical park and enjoy the sights of Halloween. There will be trick or treating stations throughout the park. Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Hosted by Downtown Milford and the Milford Historical Society.

Lost Lake Sledding Hill MLK Day – at Lost Lake Park. The BEST sled hill in Oakland County has their warming shelter open for some school’s out sledding! Make sure you call the sledding hotline at 248-651-4440 ext 299 before you head out to make sure the sled hill will be open! Review, Pics, Video.
