Oakland County Moms Calendar of Metro Detroit Spring Events
Downtown Milford 4th of July Parade – Downtown Milford. Due to road closures, this year’s event will take a new scenic route. The parade will begin at 11a on Cabinet Street and will proceed east on Commerce Street to Main Street. Then, will head south on Main Street to end at the entrance of Central Park. For the best parade view, set up a seat along the stretch of Commerce Street from Cabinet to Main Street. You can expect to see proud veterans, color guards, marching bands and more proudly make their way through the route while the community cheers them on. Hosted by Downtown Milford and the Milford Historical Society.
Spencer Park Bass Tournament – The Park Bass Tournament is open to ALL AGES and SKILL LEVELS. All fishing is done from shore and there will be prizes for the most bass caught and also for the largest bass. Tournament participation is $5. Participants receive free park vehicle entry. Oakland Mall Witchypoo Revue – Dance and sing along with Witchypoo and all of her Halloween friends in a musical spooktacular. 1p, 2p, 3p, & 4p. Each performance will be followed by a brief meet & greet. No ticket required. Arrive early for best viewing. Limited seating available. Costumes welcome. Trick-or-treating will be available at this event at select Oakland Mall stores. Hosted by Oakland Mall.

The Big Reveal Milford Christmas Event – Stores on Main Street in Downtown Milford reveal festive holiday Christmas and holiday window displays to their stores. Come downtown and watch the kids “unwrap” the storefronts. Local merchants will wrap their storefronts on Tuesday, get busy, and reveal their holiday best on Thursday night.
