Who Barks in Red Oaks Park at Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Search for canine creatures lurking around the bends of
Friendship Woods and make a craft celebrating International Wolf Day. This program is suitable for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5/person. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Oxford Twp Touch A Truck – Kids Building Michigan Touch A Truck – at Seymour Lake Park. Hands on fun. See exciting demonstrations, run heavy machinery, and climb on trucks at the Touch a Truck event. Upland Hills Farm Toddler Tuesdays – at Upland Hill Farm 248-628-1611, www.
baby animals and play on the farm property. Watch the farmers feed the animals at 9:30am and a hayride goes out at 11:00am. Visitors are welcome to pack a picnic lunch. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13.
Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
