Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa
Kensington Metropark Snacks with Santa – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). A holiday season tradition at the Farm. Each visit includes a horse-drawn hayride or sleigh ride (weather dependent on which is available), a holiday sing-a-long, (complete with cozy blankets, song sheets, and jingle bells), snacks, (fruit, cookies, juice, hot cocoa, and coffee), and most importantly, a visit with Santa by the Christmas Tree. All ages. $12 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 810-227-8910. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Heritage Park Snowshoe Trek
Heritage Park Snowshoe Trek – Explore the woods on snowshoes. Lesson provided and an additional charge for snowshoe rental. Special discounted rental fee of $5/pair for program participants or bring your own snowshoes. If no snow, we will walk the trails. Please dress for the weather and wear sturdy boots. All ages. $5. Concessions will be available and all proceeds will fund the school’s Early Childhood Center playground project. $25 for a Large Table to sell your items.
