South Lyon Christmas Holiday Spectacular in Downtown South Lyon. Formerly known as Cool Yule. South Lyon whips up a full-day of Christmas and holiday fun. The South Lyon community will celebrate the upcoming holiday season. Enjoy Santa visits, live reindeer, trackless train rides, characters, holiday market, South Lyon Lighted Parade, and more. Stony Creek Metropark Kids Night at the Nature Center – Drop your kids off and enjoy your Friday night, kid-free. Your kids will have a blast as they meet the nature center animals, including our nocturnal opossum. They’ll get a chance to explore outside along a trail, looking for tracks in the moonlight, gazing at the growing moon, and listening for owl calls and coyote howls. Kids will warm up around our campfire and cook s’mores. Snacks will be provided. Ages 7-12. $10 per child. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113.
