Kids Night at the Hawk
Kids Night at the Hawk Community Center – Parents can plan a special night-out while kids get to enjoy a night-in at the Hawk Community Center. Hawk Recreation Staff will plan and oversee activities for a fun-filled night. You do not need to be a passholder to participate. Emergency form must be filled out at check-in. Participants will have supervised access to the pool and should bring a swimsuit if they wish to participate in pool activities. AGES 5-11. Resident/Non-Resident $25/$30. To register. Hosted by Farmington Hills Special Services Department.
Walled Lake Easter Egg Hunt
Walled Lake Easter Egg Hunt – Egg hunt at noon, bouncehouse, magic show, and petting zoo. For more info, call 248-624-4847. Hunt starts at noon. Hosted by the City of Walled Lake Recreation Department.

Explore Stony Creek Metropark with your furry friend. During each program, a park interpreter will meet you at different dog-friendly rustic trails throughout the park. Village of Franklin Memorial Day Ceremony – A ceremony to honor veterans. “The Franklin Cemetery
Association invites you to a day of remembrance in our beautiful cemetery. Over 258 veterans of wars dating back to the War of 1812 are laid to rest in our historic cemetery. All will be honored. This old-fashioned, patriotic service is filled with music and inspiration for young and old. Franklin Boy Scout Troup #1699, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard, and many other volunteers join to make this a special service”. Guest Speak for 2024 will be Mitch Albom. Please bring your own blanket or lawn chairs. Hosted by Franklin Cemetery.
