Beverly Hills Memorial Day Parade and Carnival – The parade begins at 11a in the east parking lot of Groves High School, travels north on Evergreen to Beverly and concludes at Beverly Park. Carnival follows the Parade at Beverly Park from noon-2p. For more info, visit villageofbeverlyhills.com

Milford Memorial Day Ceremonies
Milford Memorial Day Ceremonies – The Annual Milford Memorial Day Parade will take place on Main Street in Downtown Milford. Begins at the American Legion Hall at 510 W Commerce Rd in Milford. For more info, visit milfordtownship.com.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Village of Franklin Memorial Day Ceremony
Village of Franklin Memorial Day Ceremony – A ceremony to honor veterans. “The Franklin Cemetery
Association invites you to a day of remembrance in our beautiful cemetery. Over 258 veterans of wars dating back to the War of 1812 are laid to rest in our historic cemetery. All will be honored. This old-fashioned, patriotic service is filled with music and inspiration for young and old. Franklin Boy Scout Troup #1699, the Oakland County Sheriff’s Department Honor Guard, and many other volunteers join to make this a special service”. Guest Speak for 2024 will be Mitch Albom. Please bring your own blanket or lawn chairs. Hosted by Franklin Cemetery.

Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Waterford Movies Under the Moonlight – Movies Under the Moonlight in Waterford MI will take place at Pierce Middle School.
The gates open at 6:30p and the movie starts at dusk. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy! The cost is $5 per person.
Typically, this event hosts plenty of entertainment for the kids at these events. The cost includes everything but concession stand snacks and drinks.
