Who Barks in Red Oaks Park at Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Search for canine creatures lurking around the bends of
Friendship Woods and make a craft celebrating International Wolf Day. This program is suitable for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5/person. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-585-0100 during nature center hours or online. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Auburn Hills Free Summer Concerts
Auburn Hills Free Summer Concerts – Riverside Park in Auburn Hills will be host to summer concerts on Friday evenings all summer long.
The free summer concerts run from 7p-8:30p. Grab a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the free music! Concerts are held at the Knight Amphitheatre at Riverside Park.

Stony Creek Nighttime Nature
Stony Creek Nighttime Nature at Stony Creek Metropark – Stony Creek Metropark – (586-781-4242,
metroparks.com). A short presentation from a naturalist followed by an evening out on a nature walk. Ages 8+. $5 per person. Pre-registration is required online or by calling 586-781-9113. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. You can purchase an annual pass HERE.

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. Red Oaks Nature Center Homeschool Series (248-585-0100) A new homeschool theme each month. Homeschool sessions are adapted for two age groups: Ages 6-9 and ages 10-13.
Cost is $10/child/session. Preregistration with payment is required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or online. No on-site registration will be available. Sessions are designed as a drop-off program for youth. All students are welcome. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.
