Detroit Zoo GreenFest – The Zoo-wide experience includes demonstrations by the Detroit Zoological Society’s Green Team, conservation education, citizen science projects and exhibits by local conservation groups. Addison Oaks Park/Day Use, Highland Oaks, Independence Oaks Park, Lyon Oaks Park/Day Use, Lyon Oaks Dog Park, Orion Oaks Park/Day Use, Orion Oaks Dog Park, Red Oaks Dog Park, Rose Oaks. Northville Memorial Day Parade
Northville Memorial Day Parade – Northville Chamber of Commerce Memorial Day Parade
W Cady Street, Northville, MI 48167. The Parade is an observance to honor and mourn the US military personnel who have died while serving in the United State Armed Forces. The parade marches down Main Street to Wing Street, then West down Cady Street, briefly stopping at Oakwood Cemetery on West Cady Street. It then proceeds to Rural Hill Cemetery where there will be a memorial service starting at 11a. Hosted by the Northville Chamber of Commerce and VFH Post 4012.

Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade
Sylvan Lake Memorial Day Parade – 11a (lineup) / Parade at 11:30a at Sylvan Lake City Hall and Memorial Park.
The Parade will begin at 11:30a at City Hall and end at Memorial Park with a brief ceremony. Kids are welcome to decorate their bikes and participate in the parade. Veterans that wish to participate are asked to contact Jim Smith at 248-904-9085 to be recognized at Memorial Park ceremony. Kids can begin decorating their bikes for the bike parade (with supplies provided) at City Hall at 10:30a. If you would like to volunteer at the parade / ceremony please contact sylvanlakeparade@gmail.com.

Northville Summer Concerts – The Northville, Michigan Downtown Development Authority has announced their Summer Concert Series dates.
The Northville concerts will be held on Friday and Saturday evenings from June through August at the Town Square (Located on Main Street across from the Marquis Theatre). Concerts start at 7p. These shows are all acoustic.
