Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic
Oakland County Parks Pet Wellness Clinic – Orion Oaks Dog Park – Oakland County Parks Pet Vaccinations clinics for dogs and cats are low-cost. Pets must either be leashed or brought in a carrier to the events. No appointments are needed to get your pet vaccinated, obtain preventative care, receive microchipping and/or purchase a dog license. Vaccinations, heartworm tests, flea prevention and dewormer are available. For pet safety, bring dogs on a short leash with a snug collar and cats in a carrier. There are no residency requirements

Mom’s Day at Canterbury Village
Mom’s Day at Canterbury Village – Canterbury Village will be transformed into the Mesozoic
Era with prehistoric dinosaurs throughout. Guest will stroll through this outdoor Dinosaur adventure and get up close and personal with almost 100 life-like creatures, reptiles and life-size dinosaurs. Moms & Grandmothers get FREE admission Mother’s Day Weekend! Tickets are just $11.99 until 4/29/24. After, they will increase to $14.99. Tickets purchased at the door will be $20. Parking is FREE. Be sure to stop by the nature center to get a certificate and a flower to plant at home. A Metroparks daily or annual vehicle pass is required to enter any Metropark. Permits are on sale NOW. Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony
Lake Orion Memorial Day Ceremony – Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362)
Lake Orion will host brief ceremonies at 9a at Eastlawn Cemetery (37 E Flint Road Lake Orion) and at 10a in Downtown Lake Orion at Children’s Park (201 S Broadway St #335, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A parade will be held in Downtown Lake Orion at Flint St & Broadway at 11a. Parade steps off at Blanche Sims Elementary School (465 E Jackson St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). If you would like to participate in the parade, please contact Tom Allport at 248-202-6198. These events are all hosted by American Legion Post 233 – Charlton-Polan Post.

Waterford Memorial Day Parade
Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.
