Madison Hts Memorial Day Event

Madison Hts Memorial Day Event – The Memorial Day Parade begins at 9 at Wilkerson Middle School. People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs, and sit along the parade route. For additional information call Martha Kehoe at 248-548-7929.

Farmington Memorial Day Parade

Farmington Memorial Day Parade – at the Intersection of Grand River & Orchard Lake Road on Grand River Avenue, between Orchard Lake Road and downtown Farmington. The event ends with a ceremony at Memorial Park at Grand River Avenue & Oakland Street, followed by a free community luncheon hosted at the American Legion. The Parade Committee is looking for volunteers who would like to join the team and help organize and manage the event. Berkley Memorial Day Ceremony

Berkley Memorial Day Ceremony – 11a and noon (2 ceremonies)

Berkley City Hall Gazebo (3338 Coolidge Hwy, Berkley, MI 48072) – Ceremony I
Berkley American Legion (2079 12 Mile Rd, Berkley, MI 48072)
American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 9222 are hosting a Memorial Day Ceremony at City Hall. Following the ceremony, the Legion will host a post-ceremony at noon. Hosted by the City of Berkley. Hosted by the Berkley American Legion Stanley J. Fons Post 374.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center  (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy

nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child. Preregistration with payment required by calling 248-858-0916 weekdays or 248-858-0100. Hosted by Oakland County Parks and Recreation.

Farmington Summer Concerts

Farmington Summer Concerts at Riley Park – Riley Park in Farmington, Michigan will host free summer concerts on Friday nights at the Walter E Sundquist Pavilion as part of the Rhythmz in Riley Park concert series.

Also usually featured at Riley Park will be the Lunch Beats noon-time summer concert series every Wednesday this summer.

Concerts run every Friday from 7p-9p and feature pop music, folk, country, rock-a-billy and more. Chairs and blankets are recommended.
