Ferndale Free Summer Concerts – Schiffer Park in Downtown Ferndale will be home to the FREE concert series on 9 consecutive Sundays this summer. Parking will be available at the Withington Parking lot parking deck at Ferndale’s The Dot.
Milford Movies at Central Park – Milford Twp is hosting their FREE Milford Picnic and Movies series in Downtown Milford on select days through the summer. Movies start at dusk. Milford Community Picnics take place at Central Park and feature games, bouncers, refreshments, hot dogs, climbing wall, pony rides & petting farm, crafts, and science alive.

Berkley FREE Summer Concerts – at Oxford Park and the Berkley Community Center. Berkley Parks and Recreation Berkley Beats concert series is held on various Wednesdays throughout the summer as part of Berkley Summer Fest – family-friendly fun events taking place in Berkley each summer.
Birmingham Summer Concerts – Shain Park in Birmingham, Michigan will once again be hosting free concerts throughout the summer. The Birmingham Summer Concert Series concerts will start at 7p on select Wednesdays through the summer.

Birmingham Movie Nights at Booth Park – Enjoy free movie nights in Birmingham MI under the stars at Booth Park. Pre-show entertainment begins at 6:30p. The outdoor movies begin at 7:30. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and don’t forget the popcorn!

Waterford Oaks Wave Pool Dog Swim – at Waterford Oaks County Park. All dogs owners must show valid Michigan dog license and proof of current vaccinations at the time of the event. Dogs swim by weight category. Three swims. Noon-12:50p – 70lbs plus, 1p-1:50p – 31lbs-69lbs, 2p-2:50p – 30lbs and under. Pre-registration cost is $10/dog and includes admission, contest entry and one 50-minute swim session. On-site registration is $15/dog if availability allows. To register, call 248-858-0916. Southfield Free Summer Concerts – Southfield Gazebo Summer Concert Series, Eat to the Beat, Summer in the City, and Kids Concerts concerts are happening this summer. Southfield will be hosting the Gazebo Summer Concert series at Burgh Historical Park on Tuesday evenings from 7p-8:30p. Bring the family and enjoy the music!
You can also enjoy the Eat to the Beat summer morning concert series on select one Thursday a month at Civic Center Drive and Central Park Boulevard, and the Friday Night Concert Series at the Southfield Municipal Complex.

Waterford FREE Platform Tennis Open House – at Waterford Oaks County Park Near Paradise Peninsula Playscape This free clinic is a opportunity to test drive the sport of platform tennis. Extra equipment available on site for first time players or those who do not have their own paddles or paddle balls. Instruction from Waterford Paddle Club. Dress for the weather.
