Rochester Hills MLK Day Snowfort & Campfire – Come dressed for the weather and ready towork and build an igloo-style snow fort. No snow? No problem. Create a fort made from other natural materials instead. Deconstruct the fort at the end and talk a bit about “leaving no trace”. A campfire and hot chocolate will also be provided. Bloomer Park Sap to Syrup Pancake Breakfast – (3 time slots available). Visit Bloomer Park and our Sugar Bush to see an old-fashioned sap-to-syrup boiling operation. We will be making syrup from trees tapped right here in Rochester Hills. Sample some real maple syrup and enjoy a pancake breakfast complete with sausage, juice and coffee. Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.
