Clarkston Friendly Forest Halloween Event – on Saturday between noon-3p (reserve your time slot). Presented by Independence Twp Parks Recreation & Seniors. Walk a friendly decorated trail to collect goodies from all of your favorite characters. For ages 2-9. You MUST pre-register for this event / tickets will NOT be sold on-site. Highland Trick or Trucks
Highland Trick or Trucks – at Milford High School ( 2380 S Milford Rd, Highland, MI 48357)
Not only will kids get the experience of trick or treating, but they will also get to see the area’s biggest trucks. Possible trucks will include a dump truck, fire engine, bulldozer, and more. West Bloomfield Halloween Trick or Treat Trail – (4 timeslots to choose from) at Marshbank Park (248-451-1900, www.westbloomfieldparks.org). Trick or Treat on a safe and friendly 1/2 mile paved trail. Collect Trick or Treat on a safe and friendly 1/2 mile paved trail. West Bloomfield Little Hikers
West Bloomfield Little Hikers – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center (wbparks.org). Join our Naturalist on a nature
discovery walk. Enjoy silly songs and fun activities to keep all ages, from babies to school-aged engaged. Families can explore the Nature Room and Outdoor Natural Play Area after the hike. The trail is 0.5 miles and unpaved so only all-terrain strollers are recommended. A baby backpack/carrier is suggested for infants. The fee is per family. $3 resident / $5 non-resident. Clarkston Preschool Nature Program
Clarkston Preschool Nature Program at Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. A different seasonal theme each month. Cost is $5/child.
