Moon Friday Night Hike. Listen for nocturnal animals, observe the night sky, and heighten your senses along the way. Cost is $5 per person. Pre-registration required. Skull Island Camp Open House at Skull Island Camp (248-789-2223, www.skullislandcamp.com). Tour Skull Island, meet the
staff, and preview Skull Island camps at this fun event. Kids can try out the zip lines, fish, climb on the climbing walls & pirate ships, and more. Pontoon Boat ride shuttles run all day to and from the camp. Check out Skull Island for FREE.

Geary Park Skate Jam
Geary Park Skate Jam at Geary Skate Park. Skate contests presented by Ferndale Parks & Recreation. This event will feature
competitions in 4 categories: skateboarding, inline skating, BMX, and scooters. Participants will showcase their skills and compete for the coveted 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in each category. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org

Rochester Hills Festival of the Hills Fireworks – at Borden Park. Oakland County’s largest fireworks show returns to Borden Park in Rochester Hills.
