Wint Nature Center Early Childhood Hour Out (ECHO) – Wint Nature Center (248-625-6473)
Parents, grandparents, nannies and caregivers: Bring your little ones to Wint Nature Center for a caregiver-guided hour of activities, fun and friendship with local families on Thursdays. Participate in a caregiver-led activity provided by nature center staff. Enjoy coffee, tea and conversation with other caregivers. Strengthen community connections –conversation for adults; social interaction for babies, toddlers and young children. Optional activities may take place outside, dress for the weather. This program is free and no preregistration is necessary, although park entry fee applies for those without a vehicle permit. Caregivers must supervise children at all times. Siblings are welcome. Wheels & Squeals Touch a Truck – FREE touch a truck event. Parking on site is extremely limited. Take advantage of the free shuttle provided by
Oakland County Parks. Pick up from Silver Lake Church of the Nazarene. 520 W Walton Blvd, Pontiac, MI 48340. Shuttle runs from 4:45p-8p. This event is free and open to the public. Contact 248-858-0916 for more information. Hosted by the City of Pontiac in conjunction with Oakland County Parks.

Kensington Weekend Hayrides – at Kensington Metropark – (810-227-8910, metroparks.com). Enjoy a horse-
drawn or tractor-drawn hayride (depending on the weather) through the wooded trails around the Farm Center. 20-minute hayrides. All ages. $3 child / $5 adult. Pre-registration is not required. Tickets for weekend hayrides are sold at the Farm Center Office.

Clawson Fall Festival
Clawson Fall Festival – Clawson City Park. Celebrate the beginning of fall with an afternoon of fun! The day includes free hayrides, farm animals, inflatables, baked goods 4 sale, games and more. West Bloomfield Little Hikers
West Bloomfield Little Hikers – at West Bloomfield Twp Recreation Activities Center (wbparks.org). Join our Naturalist on a nature
discovery walk. Enjoy silly songs and fun activities to keep all ages, from babies to school-aged engaged. Families can explore the Nature Room and Outdoor Natural Play Area after the hike. The trail is 0.5 miles and unpaved so only all-terrain strollers are recommended. A baby backpack/carrier is suggested for infants. The fee is per family. $3 resident / $5 non-resident. Foster Care Orientation Meeting
Foster Care Orientation meeting at the Ennis Center for Children are for anyone interested in learning more about how to become a licensed foster parent. The orientation is the first step towards becoming a licensed foster parent with Ennis Center for Children. Information is provided about the types of children in care, how they enter care, and the process/skills needed to become a licensed foster parent. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month from 5p-7p at each local Ennis office. Virtual meetings are held via ZOOM every 3rd Tuesday of the month. For more info, www.enniscenter.org
