Royal Oak Memorial Day Parade – The parade will start at Main Street & Lincoln and will proceed north to Second Street The parade has been held on Memorial Day for several decades as a respectful tribute to our veterans – past and present. A ceremony follows the parade. To apply to be in the parade or for more information, visit romi.gov/parade

Waterford Memorial Day Parade
Waterford Memorial Day Parade – Burke Lumber (Dixie Hwy and Sashabaw Rd, Waterford, MI).
The annual Memorial Day parade hosted by Pontiac Waterford Elks 810. The parade route is along Dixie Hwy. beginning at Sashabaw Rd., then traveling NW to the intersection of Dixie & Williams Lake Rd. For more info, visit www.waterfordmi.gov.

Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program
Red Oaks Preschool Nature Program – Red Oaks Nature Center (248-585-0100). Children ages 3-6 can enjoy
nature fun as they increase their love for the outdoors. A naturalist will engage children with a story, nature talk and a related hands-on activity. Each child will make a craft to take home. During the 10-day Oakland County Fair, there will be a midway with carnival rides, fireworks, free concerts, monster trucks, a demolition derby and exhibits. Visitors can stroll through many barns to see horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, goats, poultry, dogs, cats, rabbits and even newborn animals.
